MACHANG, April 9 — The Prisons Department has created 13 satellite prisons nationwide since early this year to overcome congestion.

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 22 — The Prisons Department has two sets of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to curb the spread of Covid-19 in prisons, said Deputy Home Minister I Datuk Seri Dr Ismail Mohamed Said.

KAJANG, Oct 13 —  All new inmates to be managed by the Prisons Department around Selangor will be segregated in a special quarantine centre prior to being placed in prison to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 epidemic.

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 7 — A total of 1,126 active cases of Covid-19 involving prison inmates and staff nationwide have been recorded so far.
